Bikram Acharya earned his PhD in Industrial Engineering from Seoul National University in 2018, specializing in Technology Management, Economics, and Policy with a focus on IT Policy. He possesses a broad range of expertise in technology, innovation, and industry dynamics, coupled with a keen interest in Public Policy, Market Analysis, Technology Forecasting, and Consumer Behavior related to new and existing technologies. Furthermore, he has a deep understanding of innovation, the innovation-enabling environment, and the institutional analysis of development necessary for fostering an innovation-conducive environment, particularly for ICT and emerging technologies. Moreover, Dr. Acharya boasts a strong foundation in Econometrics and quantitative and qualitative methodologies, including Agent-based Modeling, Network Analysis, Data Envelopment Analysis, System Dynamics, Contingent Valuation, multi-criteria analysis, and various Cost-Benefit models. Dr. Acharya has more than 10 years of experience spanning industry, academia, and the public sector in different capacities. Currently, he is working as an independent consultant and policy researcher.
